About the Tour
Our Carbfix group tours provide a deeper, hands-on experience that includes both the Geothermal Exhibition and a guided visit to a Carbfix injection well (weather and site conditions permitting).
This 1–1.5 hour tour is led by an experienced Science Communicator and includes:
An introduction to Iceland’s geothermal and geological landscape
Insights into power production and distribution at the Hellisheiði Power Plant
A detailed explanation of the Carbfix carbon mineralization method
A trip to the Carbfix injection area and views over ON Power’s Geothermal Park
Participants are encouraged to ask questions and may further explore the exhibition afterward.
